I am thrilled to report that after being out in the rain for 36 hours straight, and then going through a touchless car wash (yeah, I know..blah blah blah..haters gonna hate), my car didn't have a single leak anywhere. Not a drop! That's something I can't even say about either one of the Miatas I have owned.

If they had a problem with leaks during QC, worry not, people...they sure found a good fix!

:Dok, so now that you can be sure the rain does not come in, let us pray for some nice weather so you can let the sunshine in (i.e. lower the top)

Please inform the rest of us (potential) convertible owners, what your dealer(s) says about the tonneau caps that seem to missing from quite a few cars.

And to my all important question of the day, what happens when you sit in the back seat? Is it a neck twist fest or does it have decent headroom? :)

Thanks,

Chris

Back seat? What back seat? Oh...you mean the little cubby behind the seats where I put my laptop case? LOL.

I haven't even tried to get back there yet. I'll let you know my findings when I do. If you don't hear from me by Sunday, send someone with the Jaws O' Life...

Picked mine up this afternoon! The bow really sealed the deal...LOL. Any other S550 convertible owners in Tennessee yet?

Congratulations, RisingForce and icarumba! Those are some beautiful Ponies! :ford:

I sure am; if anybody else didn't receive the tonneau caps either, please send me a PM with your name, best contact info, VIN, current mileage, and dealer.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Anyone taller than 5'9" will be touching the rear window glass with their head. One nice feature is the long travel of the front passenger seat. You can move it quite far forward and still have some leg room. In that position, a fairly tall person can sit in the rear right seat if they don't mind hitting their head.

Our first convertible. Race red GT fresh off the truck this morning. But it's a special order so it'll sit for a few days until the owner gets back from vacation.

I am 6'-0", and my head touched the headliner in the back seat. I could probably stand a short ride back there, but I'd probably get antsy after an hour or so. Or I could just slouch.

Thanks, touching is acceptable, mine (I am 5'11'') barely brushed the '14, but my kids will grow into teenagers while I have this car and I do not want to think that a rear-end accident will be potentially horrible :(.
