Patience, here is patience for ya....

I am a communications tech with a power utility. I am way you north, near Santa’s house and working here for this week. This is not my place of residence, not even close. I live about 1000 miles south east of here. But anyway, Here was the temp and windchill when I went outside this morning.

YIKES!.... we just got out of that weather recently... lows down to -25 and -50 wind chill.... It's a balmy 21 and sunny today.....another month to go.....

I flew in here on Sunday... been like it here all week. And speaking with the locals, it’s been like this quite some time. And snow has been on the ground here since mid October.

LOL. Actually the population is about 11000 people. It’s a mining town. The summers here a short but really nice. I come here 6-8 times a year. But not enough money in the world to get me to live here

I remember last year it hit -40, can’t imagine how cold it was up there.

-49 is about the coldest I can recall. But Lab City is way inland and very dry. This temp is very cold, but not a "chill to the bone" cold. Just have to dress well for it. But you have to plug in your car and after starting it in the morning, have to le it warm up for at least 1/2 hour. Definitely not "Top Down" weather..

Wow, nice! The lighting is terrific in that photo - and funny enough, I may have eaten at that very same restaurant, definitely spent a bunch of time in the Coconut Grove area.

Yeah I agree about the lighting. There was a street light right behind camera, which is what prompted me to take the pic. I wish there wasn't a tree shadow in the way, but oh well. I don't have many night pics. This one's pretty good.

And Bombay Darbar is pretty good. It was our second time there. Their chicken vindaloo is on point.
