I got a set and it was the best upgrade to the car so far. Miles better than the stock Pirellis.

The only thing I don't like is that the sidewall doesn't take tire shine very well. I always have these areas where it doesn't seem to penetrate. I've tried a few different products - 303 seems to work the best so far.

Hi,
I looked up 235 50 zr 18 continental dws06 + yesterday, they're discounted to $166, that's 40 low. So I ordered a pair.

My original tires pirelli Nero zero are noisy, only 14000 miles on them and still have plenty of tread. Can't stand the noise

Tirerack has the rating on the dws06 + really low, in the past they were top rated, anybody have a recent negative experience with them?

I bought continental tires for my pickup this spring, had to send a pair back for excessive hunter road force, got 4 others from a different source, now less than 2000 miles and they vibrate at highway speeds. Going back to the tire dealer this week...

Is continental having problems?

Thanks, Jerry
Those are great tires. I have them on my GT convertible. They grip well dry or wet. They are a great buy

No. Continental tires are great. I have the Extreme Contact 2s and couldn't be happier. It's the DSW 06s that aren't great for wear. I've seen a lot negative reviews on those because of wear issues.

Continental is almost as good as Michelin. Never had any issues.

Great tire. I have over 20K miles on a set 235/50 X 18s Use them daily and took a couple of long 2500 mile road trips on them. No noise or weird wear issues even after I set my car up for Autox and cranked in 2.75 degrees of negative camber. Note these are not my autox tires. I use Bridestone RE71Rs for that.

Hi,
I got two of my continential dws06 plus tires from tirerack yesterday, had them installed and balanced on a Hunter road force machine, put them on the front, what a difference! Drives smooth, less noise by far! I should of got rid of the zero Nero original tires long ago...

Unfortunately the other two tires got lost in ups shipment, tirerack was very easy on this, they're sending 2 more.

Thanks for all the input! Jerry

Hi,
Today I took my pickup truck to the tire dealer cause of vibration. I have less than 2000 on Conti Terriancontact H/T, LT275 70 18
They ran them on a Hunter road force balancer, two registered as uncorrectable, that's 4 of 6 tires I had to send back.
But conti is very good about warranty replacement.

I called conti customer service, warranty is one year or 2/32 of tread wear.

Thanks, Jerry

I had them on my GT PP1. The noise and comfort were fine but the traction was not great. Winter performance was only marginally better than my summer tires. Summer performance was noticeably worse. However, I drove the, when dry in the cold temperatures but not often when it is wet.

Well i have aftermarket wheel and installed some conti DWS06 285/35r19 on the rear and 255/40r19 on the front. No problems with the tires at all. I love the tires and their performance. The rear ones are a bit worn and I'm planning on buying another pair. Their performance and price are hard to beat. That's also why a stayed away from the Michelins

I have Conti DWS06 245 40 R20 on my Camaro. Since it's my daily I wanted all seasons for better performance in rain and those snowy days before real winter comes and I put on the dedicated snow tires. I think the Camaro and Mustang are very similar in weight and performance, so tire results with a Mustang should also be similar.

I really like them. Of course they don't grip like the Michelin 4S summers on the Mach 1 wheels I use on the Mustang in the summer, but they are far better than the Pirelli summer tires that came stock on the Mustang. They are good in the rain and cold and work fine in light snow. They even have better grip on warm nice days than I expected.

Better to get UHP winters my Goodyear UltraGrip Performance Plus II are as good as UHP AS and way better with slush, cold road, and snow.

I switched to FK510 from UHP AS better grip, quiet, nice ride, can handle 25F wet easily.
