When in doubt go and drive one :) That is what I did and I got my answer pretty quickly.
Exactly. I drove a ZL1. It's badass, really is. But I missed my GT350 when I got out. Now a ZL1 1LE...I've only been a passenger. If the price is right I could see myself cheating....

I’ve been mulling over buying a ZL1. While my car has been in storage for 4 months....I began to wonder if I miss the torque....because, after all, that’s what you “feel”! The longevity issues the the GT350s are having also scares me a bit. I’ve been seeing killer deals on ZL1-1LEs, so it is tempting! I’m not a ford or Chevy guy....l like bad ass cars!

I’ve been seeing some 15% off! Makes me a little nauseous for resale, but i don’t want to unload this one like i did my 350....so all is good.

The first ZL1 i test drove, i was like meh and was happy to drive my 350 home. I think it’s tranny had an issue because the tr6060 in my current car is absolutely wonderful. I also do not understand the whole thing about a car with 650/650 not stirring your soul. Maybe my soul is just messed up and enjoys hanging on for dear life? Idk.

I’d be an even happier camper if i could slap avalanche or LFG on this thing :)

There was really no competition to the GT350 when it first came out, so I wasn't blessed with such a great problem. It took me at least a couple months just to decide on what color/stripe combo I wanted, so having to pit it against a similar priced ZL1 would've given me a real hard time. In the end, I still would've chose the GT350 because at heart, I have always been a fan of how much power a motor can make on it's own without any FI help. There will Always be something faster, and always having the fastest car is not something I care about. I just want a car that's perfect for me, and the GT350 is more than I could ask for in experience, value and performance.

I had an ‘18 ZL1 for about 6 months until the oil pump died. The dealer experience sucked. 3 weeks to swap an oil pump. GM would not say what the cause was and other owners had blown pumps, too. The itself was bery refined...too refined for my tastes, ultimately. Not to flame anybody, but, the heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel to.d of its dual mission: give everyone what they want....comfort, power, handling. I felt the power was hugely compromised and here is why:
1. The computer would not let you drag race...it would cause what we called the bog where it would just die as soon as you let go of the clutch ...a second or two later it would then allow power back which is not an ideal way to drag race -there was no way around this as the tables in the computer are locked no tuner has been able to unlock it.
2. Major heat soak: the computer dials your power waaaay back if the intake air temp reads warm, to the point whereyou can stomp on it in first gear expecting a fun hairy burnout, but no! Zero power, falls on its face. The only way you will wver tap the full power of the engine is if you habw been cruising for a while then jumpon it. In stop and go traffic and you stomp on it, the V6 Camry next to you at the stoplight will smoke you...i kid you not.

In summary, i feel that the ZL1 is to watered down. And it is the top dog Camaro. The Mustang PPL2 and Shelby are much more focused and allow tou to ha e some real fun and be the true hoonigan that you are...tracking or dragging, with minimal big brother intervention.

Hope this helps!

That is a crazy discount! That is less than I paid for my 2017 GT350 that I purchased in December of the same year. It had 1509 miles on it.
Try inquiring about that vehicle, they'll tag about 5k worth of "fees" to that price.

I am not sure about you guys, but I can't see myself getting out of a Camaro in my work car park and be seen by humans, real people.. let's be serious.

You could wear a Halloween Mask, and pretend you were trying to break in the car if someone sees you..

Why would anyone try to break IN a Camaro... steal the pot and vapes that you can usually find in one ? They are cheap nowadays... I can see people trying to break OUT of it quickly, so they are not seen in one... that I can understand :)

People only care about what is in the Camaro, the laptop, phone charger, ice cream from Ben and Jerry's.

no it's legit. dealers are really letting these 18's go now. i actually spoke to them a while back, basic doc fee, TTL. no other fees.
I just purchased mine and called 8-10 places who had cars listed for this price. Trust me, it is not what it seems. One place i called had one listed for around this price listed with 10 miles on odo had them verify told me car had 1300 miles but they're selling "new" because it was only used as a promotional vehicle. This is just too far below market price. It doesnt cost much to ship a vehicle across the country.
