The exhaust sound with the valves open @ low rpm is not a typical V/8 sound ( raspy ) .The 16 2SS with the NPP option has a better V/8 sound in the 2000/4000 rpm range. Both sound good over 4000 rpm. However the 350 keeps on going well after 6500rpm. I've lived with both . Both cars had good panel fit except the stripes on the 350 were not a perfect fit. Orange peel were about the same. You will pay $15K more for a 17 350 over a 17 2SS.
But the 350 has more special meaning to me then the SS. I wish ford would Offer the rev match system for us lazy guys. For 17 the base 350 finally makes sense along with the option package.......Finally. Too bad I didn't wait and get a 17.
