ah, i did not realise that. Mind you, the earlier engines are a lower redline and limiter so we have to change gear soonerJust FYI, the gears in Tremec are very close to the pre 2017 face lift MT-82.
......

where will you be doing this driving ? I'm no great driver myself but if you need 580+hp on the road then er where are you driving? IoM ?Don't get me wrong, I think the Mustang Mach 1 is good, however to be great in my mind it needs the following:
+100hp, NA that's headers, cams and tune or lots of ethanol (£2.60 per litre in the UK). Or a charger. £8000+
For NA or centrifugal supercharger, 4.09 gears and torsen type diff - £3000+
Handling pack - £5000+
Into Cayman GTS money now when the car itself is still £50k 1-2 years old.

certainly not build quality!I didn't comment at first and it's been interesting to see how this discussion has unfolded, but I think if we are totally honest about it and take our Mustang blinkers off :
No one buys a Mustang based on a logical 'head' decision, or for performance, handling or build quality.
I think if most euro owners were honest, they would agree that you buy a Mustang on a 'heart' decision.
You have to 'want' a Mustang ..

If it needs to have more of everything, than you should ask Steeda for a boosted Q767.I think my perception is calibrated by my daily driver having 600hp
