Mach 1 UK owners

[The Spider House]

my interest is twofold.
1. Real life experience of the Mach 1 as a daily drive (Although I only do about 4k a year). O know it is a reack focused car but unlikely to take on a track. The appeal for me is the looks and spec primarily
2. Potentially knowing members I can reach out to for advice when looking to purchase as an upgrade against my 5.0 GT.... or maybe even purchase your Mach1 should you be selling over the next 6 to 12 months (or sooner if I get too tempted ha ha)

#1 above is the main thing though at this stage and if mach1 ow era had a GT before, what was the noticeable step up in your experience?

It's a different car, I've had a GT and a Bullitt, and the Mach 1 is head and shoulders above either of them. The only real mod I've done is the H Pipe. Bought mine in 21 and its a keeper!

I don't blame you. It's my next one for sure. I keep seeing one near me in JFG but never been able to wave the guy over and have a chin wag

I wonder if you'd mind elobarating on why and how it is better than the Gt and Bullitt? I have one of each and maybe interested in the future in a Mach 1. Cheers.

Take one for a test drive, the response, and handling are just better! Not to mention the looks which are unique to the Mach1

The Bullitt has magnaride has the Mach 1 got something extra?

The Mach 1 has an optional handling package which has magnaride. I was under the impression that the Mach 1 was only offered in the USA. I may be wrong.

Yes, a lot of GT500/350 bits and pieces, separate coolers for transmission engine and diff, along with an updated aero package which increases downforce. There's lots of information out there!

Oh and of course if you buy a manual, you get the Tremac gearbox rather than the Transit M82.

Thanks. Not too many Mach 1's in Oz to test drive. An owner said he thought there were about 700 here. Might get there soon, 2 club members have them in the rare orange colour.
