I just don't understand why there is a disconnect between Ford Australia and Ford US's information.

Blame Abbott for saying 24mbit is "more than enough" for us :lol:

My confirmation email came through 27/07 and my dealer got the VIN in mid August with an estimated delivery date of late November, however after contacting Deysha she has found that there isn't a build date yet for my car and only a tentative build week of 12/10.

If that's true it'll be lucky if I see it before Christmas by the time it gets shipped and actually gets to my dealer...

I'd suggest anyone with a VIN to follow up with Deysha, because it seems that the information available to our dealers may not correlate to Ford in the US.

I got my vin about the same time and I think the production emphasis at present is in getting the 1st boatload done for the UK.
Also seems to be tracking roughly the vin nos, what are the last four digits of your number, mine are 4308?
They seem to be doing the high 3800's - 3900s now

I am trying to compile some facts together that mean something.
First Aussie Mate, XR6vct and ecoboyboost all received their window stickers on the 21/8/15 and their cars were built on the 27/8/15.
It is probably recorded somewhere but I would like to know when all of you above originally placed your orders.
I placed my order on the 1/7/14 and received my VIN no. (.............3238) from my dealer on 4/8/15.
It would be great if we could get some correlation between:

Order date:
VIN date:
VIN No (last 4 digits):
Window sticker date:
Build date:
Projected arrival date:

I think this information would be of interest to all and if you agree, maybe start a new post called:

Order Date through to Projected Arrival Date.

Guys 4 weeks, no it isnt that fast. Faster than your orders, yes no doubt. I ordered July 13th my estimated delivery date was set 9-26-15. In actuality I am thinking 10-14-15 is a realistic date. Closer to 12 weeks. And that is for a rhd gt. Something the plant has made minus the changes for this year model. This doesn't include the cross country rail trip, or the trans - oceanic shipping. I do sympathize, but trust me it is an amazing car.

no timm, if you ordered here in aus you would have a sept 2016 date, thats a year + 12 weeks. just a quick Q, if you ordered a rhd GT in the US would it be the same spec as the euro/aus or do you still get stuff like hood vents, seq tail lights and stuff like that?
