L&M or Comp Stage 1 or 2. Stage 3 I'd only put in like a CJ-equipped car with happy sauce injection or some other timing-booster (meth, etc.). Something that'll allow the car to go balls to the wall in lower RPMs in the tune to make power. Anyway, S550 produces enough power stock; just need to increase RPM to 7300 and get a 93 tune from a company that spent the time to work the bottom end out. Can even just go with a high flow filter and skip the "cold air intake".

yeah I spoke with comp and they aren't really offering much info like you said. Yes indeed, i'm ready to do opg's and sprocket so I'm trying to get this info on the cams before I shed the cash on them as well. I'll look forward to your results if you end up swapping
I just ordered up some stage 1 cams from beefcake, so I'll keep you updated on the results!

Isn't the stock gen2 coyote cam a better version of the 12-13 BOSS cam?
BOSS redlined at 8k I believe?

2017 head and cams are similar to the Boss.

Heads flow better then the boss head. Same valve springs, cam has 1mm more in./ex. lift iirc.

Real interested to see what they do for you! What manifold are you running?

It's 7500, and they also had the intake manifold to match that powerband. That's why people are saying the big cams are only worth it on cars with better intake manifolds like the CJ. Even the GT350 starts to fall off after 7700 or so.

My stage 1 cams showed up today, but I likely won't be able to install for another couple weeks. I'll either update this thread or start a new one with the results.

I'm installing the cams this weekend, so hopefully nothing goes wrong! *knock on wood* Not sure when I'll have dyno results for everyone, but it shouldn't be too much longer after that. The only thing that will be switching on my car is the swap from stage 3 cams to stage 1, and I'm installing a GT350 throttle body.

all of our big builds whether we go n/a or power adder we typically do the comps, our local n/a guy before he went whipple was making over 500 wheel with the comps.

and yes, the stage references the power band your targeting
