Color Regret?

I only have a little bit of regret with black after it gets really dirty, but then after it's washed all regret is gone again.

Just curious but has anyone actually repainted their car yet?

Maybe I just need black rims to make me like it more? I think another Debbie downer for me is the lack of cosmetic mods. I like to make it stand out appearance wise power wise im content for now. I mean its been out for a while and im waiting like its Christmas for a bigger selection of quarter window louvers lol

Zero. Guard was even better than I expected upon seeing it delivered. Love it when it's clean or dirty. It's low key but different in the best kind of way.

I will say... If you are OCD don't get black if you can't handle swirls, scratches and tiny ding(must be from Ford manufacturing plant) on a brand new car from the dealer.

Yes. Thats part of it and I'm just living with it...not even mad..... looks great cleaned up!!

My last 3 vehicles one which was a 5.0 were black...just grew tired of the more I cleaned them, the more swirls and scratches appeared. I'm the type of guy that wipes my car down everyday unless I'm not going anywhere.

That's Magnetic and it's actually a sweet looking color. It looks different in the sun vs the shade. Pretty cool.

I think it may be hard right now to make your Mustang stand out because there are not too many different options exterior wise. I think as the market grows you will have more options and the ability to make it stand out. I think black wheels would look great on the orange. For me though I love black cars, always have, always will. I owned a Yellow rag top Terminator and accented it with black. I've owned three white Mustangs and accented them with black. For me it was clear what color I needed to go back to. This is my 4th black Mustang and I have zero regrets. My 2011 was white and I regretted not getting black. Sure, black gets dirty quick, so I just clean it a lot. It is the prettiest color clean. Bar none!

Damn straight!

My only problem is I can't make up my mind if I want to keep the PP wheels and black everything out, or switch to something like a gunmetal (or powder coat) for the wheels. Maybe powder coat and silver stripes to match... No color regrets at ALL though.

where I live just owning a S550 stands out. Being the first year their not on every street corner like the 5th gen Camaro and the S197 mustang.

nope. competition orange makes me giddy like a school girl 24/7

Couldn't be happier with Competition Orange. Last car was Race Red which I couldn't have been happier with either, just didn't want to get another the same color.

The only color I have ever regretted having gotten is black. Absolutely the worst color for a daily driver.
