Absolutely beautiful colour, I'm going with white stripes though instead of black :).

That is nice:love: But, going to the effort/cost of painting on stripes?:headbonk: At least when they're stuck on you can remove and change em in future

Excellent choice of colour...

I'm in the US at the moment building up a huge pile of accessories (God only know's how I'm going to get them back with me... but where there's a will there's a way) and I've been to several Ford and Ford Performance dealerships during the buying process (Jarrett Gordon, Lakeland, Brandon, Elder and more) all of which have had at least one Grabber Blue (in the case of Jarrett Gordon a GT350) on the lot or in the showroom... and without a doubt it's the 'flat' colour that stands out way ahead above any other and has to be seen in the flesh (sorry to anyone with a RR, TY, OW or CO), and part of me wishes I'd gone with it when I'd ordered but the wife veto'd that one and we went Magnetic (but I have a cunning plan...)!

The benefit of a visit to the US is just about every dealer has just about every single colour lined up on their lot, be it current or discontinued, and in just about every format from ECO to GT to CS... so the comparisons are so much easier to make!

Enjoy and congratulations!

I had to buy a 3rd suitcase last week to get my stuff back! Wish I bought more now tho
Yeah... same here... a trip to WalMart to get a big case or holdall will be required. One of the boxes I picked up from my visit to BMR is the one that's scaring me as it's about 5' tall but I think there's a lot of packaging in there.. but I will prevail :D .

Shocking how much cheaper the parts are over here (got some ridiculously good prices from Lakeland Ford) and... sorry Bill... in some cases almost half what CJ's are selling them for (for OEM parts)!

Congrats on the car although I'm a little sad my GB isn't so unique now!

I'm still not sure about stripes but yours do look cracking.

Best colour choice without a doubt!

... Here's some photos.........
Looks so good with the those particular black stripes with the black wheels. Almost wish I hadn't ordered the option silver wheels. Oh well, will probably go for white equivalent stripes as a result.

Does Grabber Blue look as dark and rich in real life? I still haven't seen one in real life here in Melbourne. 1970s GB Mustangs here look to have a tinge of green in the blue, which I am not so keen on.

Congratulations Bronze tooth. Great choice of model and colour. Those over the top and rocker stripes really set it off.

Over the weekend I swapped out the exhaust from the cats back, with a Kooks H-Pipe exhaust. The sound, is absolutely amazing, this has really woken the car up (as well as some neighbours :headbang:). Thankfully I don't travel early mornings normally so cold starts down the road aren't too much of an issue.

Fitting wise and for anyone that's not done this yet I recommend getting on a lift, while it can be done while jacked up on axel stands, which I did because I'm impatient, it's far from ideal. It's certainly a two man job to get the OEM exhaust off as it's one piece and has some serious weight to it. While putting the new exhaust on was a breeze in the park by comparison, getting it totally aligned correctly was a minor pain while crawling on your back under a car. I went today to put the car on a lift and checked the alignment was ok, and I did end up adjusting it slightly. I would have saved hours working on it by waiting till today and doing on the lifts in full, but I'd have been two less days with the crazy ass grin I've had since doing it :D

Here's a couple of photos (pre lift alignment), there is a video of the sound, but not got round to processing that yet, but when I do I will post, hopefully i'll get chance later, if not it will be later in the week.
