Last week I finally got to go and collect my 2015 5.0 GT in race red

So far I am really happy and very impressed...

Couple of minor niggles however... my driver side wing mirror hardly folds in at all? Is that normal? The passenger side comes in much further?

Also the head lights have quite a bit of condensation on the inside constantly, anybody got this?

All in all I think I'm in love!

She's beauty mate, congratulations! Race Red looks superb, can't wait to see one in the metal!

Can't say I have noticed the door mirror thing or the condensation, but I will have a look when I get the chance & report back. Enjoy

Yes, got both those minor issues.

My dealer is looking into the mirror folding issue and is going to check if its the same with their cars. No mention of this on the 'Euro' forum and I'm sure someone would have mentioned it if it was a design fault.

I put the condensation (is it the same as in the pic below?) just down to the really wet and damp weather. I assume the headlamp units aren't sealed and so excessive water can drain away (usually a small hole at the bottom). In the past (other cars), I've removed the headlight bulb and blasted a hair dryer in there.

Another minor issue that I've also seen on the other cars on the UK forum as the 'pinched in the middle' bonnet. Appears to be a common quality issue in the US, but easily fixed by adjusting the bonnet catch apparently. I had a quick look and it wasn't massively obvious mind you.

As you say though overall, very happy to be a Mustang owner. Your car looks great.

Both mirrors should fold in the same amount. Seems it's fairly common as a couple of other owners had the same issue.

Both my mirrors fold in the same but not by a lot.
The condensation is normal I think, also I thought my headlights were wrong but they were adjusted as if there was more weight in the car. Now they are on a lower setting they are fine, boot interior light doesn't come on, yet to see if they fitted a bulb lol.

Do you like the Race red? Does it look good in person / turn heads (other than the noise)?

I've bought in RR, there's a lot of plans in place for a 1 off wrap on my car, however starting to get "buyers remorse" as the RR does look quite good...

Race Red looks utterly amazing in person! It's very eye catching and suits the lines of the car really well imo
