  1. Recommendation: little bit of bodywork and spray paint

Local guy had a look, he's contracted by Volvo to do a lot of their body work repairs. He said most of the door stuff looks like it'll polish out but some marks will remain, to get it right though will most probably need sanding and then repaint and polished to match the rest of the car...
  2. Recommendation: little bit of bodywork and spray paint

Soapy water didn't touch it, i'll see if i can sort out a clay bar. Talking to a mate of mine this evening who owns a garage, he says a mate might sort it but see what he says. If not, mate at work does some hobby detailing stuff but i wouldn't want to use him and there be issues as the car is...
  3. Recommendation: little bit of bodywork and spray paint

Gave it a good wash down yesterday afternoon. It looks like the black marks are either really stubbornly stuck to the paint or it’s damage to the paint, gave the marks a good scrubs with a wash mitt and it didn’t touch them. As it’s on street parking on a narrow street, it looks like someone...
  4. Recommendation: little bit of bodywork and spray paint

It looks like it's gone down to a silver layer, not sure if that's gone to bare metal. I'm washing her tomorrow so will get some pics up then. Part of the front wheel arch, just behind the front wheel and to the front of the passenger door has been pushed in it looks like as well.
  5. Recommendation: little bit of bodywork and spray paint

Anyone know or recommend anywhere to sort out a little bit of body work issue and a few marks where the paint has been rubbed off? I'm stuck with onstreet parking and on several occasions over the last 18 months, i've had people essentially bumped into the car and then drive off...
  6. UK Ford Mustang OEM parts

Where’s the best/cheapest place to get the OEM Mustang parts? I thought it would be www.fordpartsuk.com but they don’t seem to have any Mustang stuff at all. Still looking for a front splitter/skirt to replace my broken one and from all the worn out ones on EBay, I’d rather go brand new OEM.
  7. MY18 when do you expect delivery?

Saw a black 2018 GT Automatic in Sandicliffe Nottingham, oh it looks so much nicer than the original pictures looked, especially in black. Salesman said it was pushing ÂŁ50k though.
  8. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

First service today at ÂŁ275 and then 2 new rear tyres on Saturday at ÂŁ205 each...expensive week for my Mustang I think :). Where in the UK is the best place to get parts, still looking for the front splitter/skirt just under the front bumper.
  9. Replacing black trim under front bumper

Hi everyone, Is there a how to guide anywhere on replacing the bit of black trim underneath the front bumper, the parts book has it down as a front bumper spoiler. Currently there is the Oem factory fit one installed and it’ll be replaced with another oem one. Just need a how to guide...
  10. Grabber Blue Front Bumper

Need an undamaged Grabber Blue Front Bumper if anyone has one available? Need one due to damage done by an unknown assailant who decided to hit the car and drive off without leaving a note. :frusty:
  11. Le Mans 2018

I was looking at doing it this year, going to talk to my brother at the weekend, might be interested. Is there still parking available at the Pistonheads campsite?
  12. Damaged front splitter

I was hoping someone like Manders might have half a dozen GT splitters in his shed somewhere that he wants to get rid of . Considering every person on the street knows that the massive blue Mustang belongs to the guy at number 40,you’d think people would be adult enough to own up and you...
  13. Damaged front splitter

Hi everyone, Been a while since i've had anytime at all to pop by and say hi to everyone. No idea how i've done the below, issue is that it's pitch black when i drive the car to and from work so might have been done a while back. There's no dents or damage anywhere on the bumper, bar the...
  14. So how was your Ford experience today?

Cool, I might get them to do purely do the oil and filter change rather than the full service.
  15. So how was your Ford experience today?

First service due? Just had a message pop up at just over 4300miles and 6 months about changing engine oil soon. Just spoke to Sandicliffe and they’re quoting around £240 for the first service but do I just need them to change the oil or is this the warning for the first big service?
  16. The UK S550 "spotted" thread

One day, I’ll get a spotted in here. Did see a beautifully done Ecoboost the other afternoon driving up the A1 and through Grantham, looked fantastic and little wave to each other as well .
  17. Steering Malfunction

Indeed, mines been rock solid though touchwood, but definitely worries me a little when I see posts like this.
  18. Steering Malfunction

The things we do to possess an icon such as the Mustang.
  19. EU specs / options / schedule

Are there any US reviews of the 2018 as yet? Couldn't afford to swap but just interested.
  20. I wonder if S550's irritate other Mustang owners

With me it's the opposite. About 7 years ago, I decided I was going to save up to buy my dream car, a big V8 muscle car, and the car I had my eye on was a 5th Gen Camaro purely as I wasn't a fan at all of the 5th Gen Mustang. A few years later, closing in on my target of being able to afford a...
