Cold start idling surging

It 9* here in NJ and I remote started my car and after it start up the idling start fluctuating between 800-1300rpm. almost seem like it’s supposed to do this.got in car push start to run, put it in reverse it went away. No check engine light ran fine after that ?

I'd suspect gas..... lots of water etc that ices up. Keep the tank full as much as possible.

Mine does this a bit but I am not stock, im whippled with their throttle body and on a custom e50 tune

It’s just weird put it in reverse smooth, right out

If I am you id be more concerned with the salt they throw around in NJ. For me at least I have zero intentions to sell and NJ is very good with salting creating rust and corrosion.

So true.working on my 03 cobra in garage so Mach 1 is out side and just started it up to move it .I got to get done with cobra and get Mach 1 back in garage .cobra is my daily.
