So I have hit my 30k mileage mark and problems are starting to show like lockout in second gear in higher rpm 5k and up. So it time to replace.

How do you use your gt? The rst and rtx are good for different reasons. Not sure I'd consider the other two options. Personally I'd add the lpxhd to the list too if it were me.

I use it for mostly weekend driving. Hard pulls and speed shifts at times.

I looked at the lpxhd but I have seen some bad reviews. So im a little gun shy of this brand. I know it probably a rebadged McLeod with some little changes. So I’m just wondering if these changes are what’s causing all the bad reviews.

I had some issues with mine initially but now it shifts good. If you search there are issues with basically every aftermarket option out there. Mcleod, mantic and even ram. I did some looking thinking maybe I spend a little more next time to avoid any issues but doesn't seem to help. I've decided your rolling the dice regardless which clutch you choose. I'll see how long my lpxhd last and then decide whether I try a different clutch next time. I've got about 23k miles so far.

That ‘chatter’ is not the clutch. It’s called ‘gear rollover’ and you’re hearing noise from the transmission. You’ll experience that on any solid hub clutch setup.

I like exedy. But Everywhere I looked I only saw single disc set up and I need twin Disc.

Yeah the chatter is more of a characteristic. 4th gear is the loudest but it only occurs under 1500rpms. I see no reason to ever stay that low in 4th gear. Lol.

Tru. Have never been that low in 4th anyways. But online review can make or break a deal. And this is a expensive dice roll.
