That is a crazy amount of squeak. I'd pull the clutch spring/perch assembly, and work the clutch. That would rule that out.

Then lube the pedal pivot

Then replace the clutch master assembly, lmfao!!!

I love how they have you spraying lube into the bellhousing to grease the pivot. No way that could contaminate the clutch...
Yeah, even if there was an inspection port on the tranny, I wouldn’t recommend doing that at all.

Can we get a few volunteers (with or without clutch spring mods) to make recordings similar to the two that I made for noise comparison purposes? That would be really helpful in determining how much noise is normal vs excessive. Thanks

Lol! I was literally going to do this!

I have the Steeda clutch spring and hd perch, O miles on it, lmao

I'll gather myself, head out, and grab some video/pics and whatever else I can come up with to try and help

Mine squeaks too. Very irritating. Started about 2k ago, at 14K now. Was thinking some lube would do the trick, but haven't had the motivation. Installed the Steeda spring the first week of ownership. Probably need to check it out soon to confirm it's not the welds cracking, but no lateral peddle movement. Wasn't the weld problems only on the 15-17s?

This may or may not be a factor, but I addd several more lines and lengths to my clutch system with the Clutch Tamer Hitmaster install; could the additional lines and lengths have added more pressure to the system and made any normal clutch noises that already existed, more pronounced? Just goin over what I changed from the previous setup and those were literally the only changes made to the hydraulic portion of the clutch. I haven’t driven the car yet, as I am still waiting on a couple of electrical connectors and a better trigger switch for the Hitmaster.

Yeah, I don't have much noise, thankfully!

I'm Steeda spring, HD perch, and SS Clutch line. OEM clutch, OEM slave/release bearing.

Copy that. Thank you! Just curious, how many miles have you logged on your clutch? Yours is whisper quiet compared to mine. LOL

I just did the math and I’ve actually added a total of 163ā€ of clutch line (minus the fittings), so there has been considerably more hydraulic fluid added to the system. I am seriously wondering if the additional volume of fluid could be causing the amplified squeaking.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the huge variable you threw in there with the clutch tamer!!

It still sounds like mechanical squeaking though.

I'd treat this as any other troubleshooting though. Assume nothing.

Pull the clutch spring perch, and manipulate. That would tell you a lot.

Fingers crossed, that it literally is just a clean and lube to success.

The weld could and should have been laid all the way around the pivot shaft. These pics are not the best, but I don’t see any signs of cracking and damage to the weld (if you’d call it an actual weld; looks more like a small tack to me). I can definitely see the potential for trouble to surface in that area one day. SMDH.

Did it squeak before the clutch tamer install? If not, I'd keep bleeding the clutch. These clutches seem to take forever to bleed. Even after my pedal feels good I have to drive a few days before it actual feels right. If you added that much clutch line I'm guessing your not finished purging the air.

I’m tracking with you. So far, Iā€˜ve pumped the pedal at least 2K times (no exaggerating here) and I’ve also done a gravity bleed on the system. I’ve lubed everything again today (no change). I’ll do another gravity bleed shortly and see if that changes anything.
