few days ago I decided to do a pull dropped it to second gear and as soon as I smashed it the car basicly gave out and started doing this noise it’s Forsure coming from the trans but from yalls experience does this sound like a clutch issue or trans ? I really am hoping it’s just the clutch and not the trans.. the sound will go away when my foot has the clutch fully in but once I let the clutch out the sound comes on in gear or in neutral.

It might be the counterweight on the right side of the tranny. Try sliding underneath and holding the counterweight still and see if the noise goes away.

Some people have reported that the retaining pin broke and the weight fell off, while others have removed it and installed the Calimer block off plate. That’s what I did on my build.

Okay bro I’ll definitely check that out but it would sound to good to be true bro the car isn’t driveable struggles to move in gear and at times hard to get in gear or to get out of the gear. I guess the only way to know would be to drop the trans.

Sounds like it is very likely to be clutch or flywheel related based on the video to me. The noise only presents itself when the rotational masses are spinning in the bell housing. I guess it's possible it could be input shaft related, but I'd put money on the clutch came apart and it's slapping around in there.

Another vote for clutch issue. That dual mass flywheel is a pile of trash and I've had one fail.

3 votes for Clutch/Pressure plate failure.

If that is the case, I wouldn't try to drive it or run the engine at all. If there's anything loose inside there (PP straps/Disc material) the inside of your bellhousing could be terminally damaged.
