How exactly did you guys route the the clutch line? I was able to route the line to the firewall and down, but there's alot of cable left over. I push the excess down, but it ends up coiling above the trans. Reading the Steeda instructions wasn't very clear to me; any help would be much appreciated.

Shouldn’t be any extra slack if you run it all the way to the firewall and remove that short section of line under the brake booster. There was a lot of extra before I removed that section. My SVE line just makes it. Wouldn’t think the Steeda line is any longer.

^bingo.

Dont fully remove the clip on the clutch master at the fire wall. Gently pry it up just enough to unlock the short tube section. Otherwise you'll need small hands or long needle nose to reseat.

Mine had a broken tab. Was only half holding the stock line in. Ford quality I suppose

Sorry I'm a bit confused on your explanations. So I used a pick to pull on the metal clip at the firewall to remove the stock clutch line at the top. At the bottom I actually removed the elbow plug from the trans and yanked the whole stock line out. I put the trans side elbow on the Steeda line and fed it from the top of the engine bay to the trans behind the headers. Plugged it into the trans, and at the top had maybe about 5-6" of excess cable. I pushed it down so I could plug the top end in, but it seems the excess just coils around above the trans. Not sure if that's ok or not.l

mine has a little slack in in but not too bad. i think they said to just zip tie it to something to keep it from moving around. i just left mine. doesnt seem to be an issue at all.

You should be fine then. Zip tie like mentioned to the brake booster bracket and call it good. Typically the issue with excess line is not getting the small section out of the firewall area. But it sounds like you did in fact get the line from the slave to the master which is the goal
