I'm not an "emo" driver but that last 50 seconds was challenging. You did good there.

Yea. I was slowly starting to rage just watching that. Usually when I encounter something like that on the road, I like to wake them up with the sound of my exhaust when I pass them. They probably think I'm an asshole. :shrug::ford::lol:

2 questions,........1) Why would stay behind him in the first place? I would have switched lanes as soon as they got in front of me and went way ahead of them. Leave no chances for error.
2) Why did you get back into that lane after the barrel came flying out? To get his license plate?

He probably didn't even know the barrel fell out. This is why many states now have huge fines for unsecured loads.

I didnt know it would fall out. and then once it did, I wanted to get the plate so I could report him. I did call the PD and show the video and they fined him.

as a motorcyclist also, its the least I could do to hit those a-holes where it hurts.
