I have yet to see such a horrible job as yours. WTF were they thinking when they gave you the car back? If it were me, I would get my money back and go somewhere else. No way I'm giving then another shot. Its not like it was a panel or two, it was the whole damn car.

They didn't respect you when they took the job. What makes you think they will respect you now?

They are now in recovery mode and will be minimizing their losses. The idiot who put the idiot on that job ought to not have a job anymore.

Option 2

Just curious - what PPF did they use? This looks like a job by an inexperienced installer with (possibly) one of the lower-end PPF films. Even the factory patterns for the GT 350 are much better than anything I saw in your pictures, not to mention the fact that the installer didn't handle the material correctly or prep the car properly. Also, just FYI, Xpel has GT 350 patterns that don't go over the stripes.

Hi Spacebird, sorry to hear or see this. Problem is Most of these so called professionals are just hacks. I am going through this with paint correction right now.

I have wrapped over 5000 vehicles and no longer do this but actually started thinking about doing some PPF on the side for myself and this reason alone. Trusty, qualified individuals.

What I would do is get your money back first.
Then have the place you brought your vehicle to remove the PPF. Let you then see the paint finish.
Decide how much paint correction needs to be done. My clearcoat was 1 buff to paint. If they cut into the paint, not clearcoat then who knows how much to fix. Buffing, more clear, ?
After that decide what you are in store for and how far you want to go.

I am there with you Spacebird. Living this right now. My car needs clearcoatmand waiting to see how and who is going to take care of it.

Spacebird, where you located in Texas. I'm going to be passing through Texas next week Monday-Tuesday and then in Arlington/Dallas area the week of August 15. PM me if your in the Dallas area. We can meet up maybe and compare notes.

Good luck.

You need to watch this video of a GT 350 Paint Protection....

These guys treat the job like "Artists Painting a Canvas"

You should show this video to your shop :)

As good as they are, they're still cutting on clear coat. Human error will happen.

This is why I'd never have this done. The cars brand new and now it's all screwed up, and no I wouldn't let them touch it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Wow. So sorry man. I would demand a full refund and to be STANDING there watching their top guy re-do the car.

Or a refund and take it elsewhere.

Did you pay with a Credit Card? If so I'd ask for a full refund and when they refuse, Call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

For safety. I would send the owner an email or registered mail explaining you want a refund. Let him know nicely that if this matter can't be resolved you put dispute the charge with you CC company. With all your pictures, I'm betting your CC company will reimburse you.

As I noted prior, I would not give them another chance, They put a tint guy on your car. It looks like the first time he did this type of job. You did not pay for an amateur to warp your car, but that is what you got. Let them do it again and they may ask the mailman to do it.
