I've had my S550 since the beginning of Jan and it's been driven every day. Ice, fog, cold, grey and torrential rain.

It's just as good as driving a rental through Nevada. No actually it's better.

Same here, but have wimped out of multi-storey car parks so far.

You can't beat a rental in many ways though - no worrying about stone chips, swirl marks, panel alignment etc. etc.

"I suspect the seat leather came from a polyurethane cow."

:D
I think the 'pleather' in the Mustang just adds to the nice new car smell.

Interesting article to read, I expected more mustang bashing from Clarkson. It almost sounded like an endorsement!

First thought when I saw the title was 'Uh oh...'

But I was pleasantly surprised :)

Not as bad as I was expecting from him but he is right about one thing, it has a turning circle of an oil tanker (or some planet I think it was) which has been my only criticism since driving mine - a small minus point I'd say and I need to practice more "J" turns for those tighter spots :)

I think if you pull the handbrake up and slide to the side, you should be able to drift into your parking spaces and turn properly, i think that's how they do it in the movies right?
