The cjpp unbranded are much deeper and louder then my stock mufflers. I installed them last weekend. They are also lighter, if i can find the dang scale I"ll tell you exactly. The only real problem was the right side muffler stuck out too far. I had that fixed yesterday at the local muffler shop. So far I'm very happy. Pics and video to follow. :ford:

I found a good deal on a used Corsa sport catback. Thinking of going with this. I will be catless and a spinning "muffler" before the catback.

Just FYI the removed stock muffler weighed 20lbs each.

Yes sir, that's the current setup I have. I just put mentions of what I tried before that.

So SLP LM2 + Stock resonator: Good sound, not enough for me though also no rasp at all...that I could hear. Pretty tame overall.

H-Pipe + No mufflers: Total crap and unbearably loud.

SLP LM2 + H-Pipe: Good volume outside the car, barely any drone, some rasp above 3500RPM and 50%+ throttle. At WOT it sounds amazing, and when revved with no load it's still loud. At idle it's just a V8 burble, it's got some bass to it but overall not enough to bother anyone at 6AM.

I considered the Roush mufflers but after hearing them in person I realized that would just be way too loud for me. I am highly considering a Corsa Sport catback in the future though.

I'm gonna be one of few by saying this but I honestly hate how the Corsa Xtreme catback sounds especially when it's revved out. It's like a permanent rasp that never goes away and it's such a high frequency that it basically sounds like the rasp is the exhaust sound itself. Then there's the guy who had a triple X-Pipe made for his Xtreme and that was utterly disgusting, no offense to him at all if he's on here, too much for me. This last paragraph is purely my opinion, please do not get offended if I came across as a bit too harsh, it is not meant to bash in any way shape or form.
Thanks for the description...appreciate it

Yes, but all hardware is only 2 mufflers and 2 clamps. I'm running stock headers, cjpp H-pipe, and cjpp mufflers.

Just asking, not offended, but have you heard it in person? It does have some rasp, I'll concede, but the videos make it sound way, way worse. I'd agree that with LTs or cat deletes it sounds like crap, unless extra resonators are added.

I'll give you that I'm not sure I heard it in person because there was an instance where this guy who was playing tag with some AMG Mercedes guys and by the shape/loudness of his mufflers I'm pretty sure he had the Xtreme catback. If I'm correct, I got to hear plenty of the exhaust itself during their driving, which ranged from behind me, next to me when he revved at me at a stop light, then a mile away when he took off chasing the AMGs. Of course I could be wrong, but I'm 95% sure he had an Xtreme catback, just based on how loud it sounded in any condition other than idling at a red light.

With that being said let's just base my judgement on videos due to uncertainty, so I'll concede there. That doesn't mean I'm not open minded about the exhaust though, it just isn't high on my list of exhausts I'm interested in. I tend to lean towards the deeper sounding exhausts first which is why I say that. I do really like the sound of the Corsa Sport catback though and that particular one is pretty high up on that aforementioned list.

Yeah, revving is not the best for it; the worst is brought out. Under heavy load it's got a much deeper sound than most people expect. It's extremely aggressive and violent sounding. It's definitely not for everyone, and I get that, but many are quick to condemn without ever hearing them in person. It's possible you heard one with headers, in which case, it's ugly and I get why you didn't like it.

The Corsa Sport is an amazing sounding exhaust. I've ridden in and heard two cars from the outside. Top notch. Modern muscle at its finest.

You're probably right. Also I completely agree on the Sport even based on videos hence why it's pretty much the one I'm saving for. Looked at alternates but they don't seem to catch my ear the way the Sport does.

That being said I'm quite happy with my current setup and it'll stay on until I get the IRS/Wheels sorted out. Gotta get those before summer comes around, can't be driving on Blizzaks when it's 80F out

Is that where the term 'blowing raspberries' came from or is it the other way around?

It looks nice. I like that it's not big suitcase mufflers that you can see from the back of the car like some other systems (precisely why I went with Solo, no mufflers in the back at all). Solo's tips are stainless vs. chrome so that's not for everyone. The tips on this look nice. Still, I'd rather get a Solo catback and eliminate that dead weight resonator in the middle of the car. Seriously, that thing weights a metric ton (for my teeny, weak arms).

Anyone else have a review????:)

Just doing a little reading...and saw that CJPP unbranded has 409 SS and LMR's SVE is 304 SS. 409 contains more iron (Susceptible to surface rust), while 304 may turn golden after some time. Both systems roughly the same price and look to be the same system. BTW, LMR reviews look good.

Any thoughts on this????
