I'm now wondering if I should go for these or the better spec'ed LMR SVEs which use a higher quality stainless steel. Hmmm...

I guess it depends on your environment. I didn't even need SS where I live, it's so dry here...aluminized holds up.

You can go in the vendor section and ask for a discount code. CJ's is a great place to deal with.

Both the CJPP and LMR are made of 304 Stainless. From the pictures they appear to be the same exhaust.

My mustang is stored during winter months and I only drive it when it doesn't rain, so I should be good either way.

From the photos, they do look identical.

I am sure the CJPP setup will be fine for you. I am in Newfoundland and not worrying, even with all the salt air. As you said, stored in winter month, so no worries....

CJ says tips are 304. LMR stated 100% 304....:)
Regardless of what CJPP states I believe the tips muffler shell and pipe are 304 stainless. You can't polish 409 stainless or mild steel to the level the metal in this system is.

I was only posting what the websites say. It wasn’t meant to debate this point with anyone. My post was just a statement of website posted information. If a purchaser is concerned with what the seller is posting, them maybe he/ she should contact the vendor directly. But then again, why would you if the site gives the specs:shrug:

For me, it’s not a reason to purchase anyway.

I'll be ordering this week! Should I pair this with the x-pipe that Steeda has for sale? What to do, what to do??? Lol

IMO, the x pipe will give you the raspy sound that some like. So it might get real loud.
These by them selves give an almost big block sound.
I did have to remove the sound pipe to clean it up though.
