Anyone use this type? Very well rated and uses a ball bearing spring mechanism vs a valve with a lever.

I had one on my Ranger and it worked well with no issues or leaks between oil change.

Similar mechanism to the upr units. I don’t see an issue with it. I will say I’ve put fumoto’s on everything I could and have never had an issue.

Great read. Nice car and glad you got what you wanted and are happy with it.

I too am in Houston, and like you, had a GT350. The one and only thing I miss about the 350 is that exhaust note but all of the bennies of the 500 more than make up for that.

Hopefully see you out on the streets of Htown.
Thanks man! I try to get out to some of the meets, occasionally.

I do miss the 350 from a sound perspective. I'm kind of underwhelmed with Corsa on the 500. Have to keep it in normal mode or else you feel like you enter the Silverado Glass Pack world at 4k RPM's.

I too got tired of the messy oil change so with the help of my "multi-tool" this ensured that does not happen again.

Also in the Houston area (Cypress!) and came from a 350. Zero regrets. I would have kept both if I could have in a heartbeat, but there’s no comparison.
I'm with ya. Definitely happy with the jump at this point. Hope to catch you around some of the gatherings.

Got the car out this weekend since the springs have settled and wanted to capture what the stance really looked like. I'll say, Steeda hit the nail on the head with ride height. I really didn't notice a "softer" normal driving sensation. If anything, I'd say they're slightly stiffer under normal conditions and during some spirited driving, you can definitely feel the car is more planted.

Car looks great!!! Did you install the rear spacers that come with the steeda springs? Just trying to gauge the ride height with or without them!!

Appreciate it! Yes, I installed the spacers. I think the spacers are a must, especially if you want your eyes to get closer to that level set stance. I didn’t want to risk the rake being exaggerated or more apparent.
