I never would have thought this was an issue for Mustang owners. Chrome and muscle cars have gone together since the '60s. I love the interior on my 2016 GT with PP. The feel is more of a brushed/carbon metal, with a couple of subtle chrome (aka shiny) highlights. I certainly don't think of the interior as having much chrome at all. Still, to each their own.

I was initially not a huge fan, probably slightly on the "it's OK" side, but you know what, I've really started to like it. I think the PP dash helps quite a bit, looks great, adds some additional contrast to the polished bezels for the AC vents and gauges. I think it might wind up being a little stark without some shine. :)

Actual chrome, maybe that would be okay.

That cheap, awful-looking chrome plastic over-wrap?

Yuck.

And if it was actual chrome, there'd be a whole new thread of guys complaining that it was too heavy, adding .00000001 seconds to their 0-60 times on the track.

Definitely! I have the 50 year package and love the turned aluminum on the dash; and its really metal to boot :)
