No, not chirping tires or crickets...lol.
I noticed this chirping sound right after start-up that last about 30 secs or so and goes away. I remember a fellow member on here having the same issue but not sure if it was ever resolved. It reminds of a pulley or tensioner failing.

This was noticed under a 1k miles when new and I now have 3200 miles. Has anyone else experience this? I will try to attach a sound clip.

Uploaded the video! The chirping starts around the 38 sec mark.

After looking over the tsb I saw that it was regarding the 2019 models on or before April 30. I assume they extended it. Mine doesn't make any sound warmed up.

How many miles was on the car when it started?

I bought the car used with about 5000 miles. Noticed it shortly after buying it.

Mine makes a similar noise occasionally not all the time, it seems lower, however, more from under the car, I dismissed it as the infamous BBQ tick, but I am new to the platform, I'll drive it till it blows.

Mine is a 2019 and it has done this for the last 3 years. I now have 8800 miles on the odometer.

Does it only do it on cold starts?
Yes, that’s when I notice it on mine. When I unplug the passenger side VVT sensor the noise goes away. When I plug it back up the chirp returns. I performed this test while the e fine was running.

I’ll be replacing that sensor when I pull the timing cover and start working on the car in the near future.

Oh shoot maybe I’ll give that a try I didn’t even think to unplug it did you unplug the exhaust one on the intake? (Left or right)
I’m pretty sure you don’t need to pull the timing cover to replace them just the valve cover

Right side toward the front end of the valve cover.

I was saving this until such a time when I had to pull the timing cover for OPGs and a valve spring upgrade.

The car has performed great even with the chirping, but it is a bit annoying to hear it. no codes or anything.
