Just wanted to update anyone who gives a flying F

Dealer says there is a Ford TSB for failed halfshafts and bad CV joints. They found one of my halfshafts bad. Parts and replacement to happen this week.

So this was a no-cost (to you) solution then? Even if you were out of warranty?

Not out of warranty. I’ve got less than 3k miles on it.

I think most of these cars' warranties expire by time well before they would have expired by miles, heh. But regardless, now I'm curious if I'd be covered if the same thing happens to mine... or is it a model-year-specific issue? What year is yours?

2023 plus I grabbed a Ford ESP with it for some extra coverage. Service advisor mentioned it was an issue documented by Ford on 18+ 5.0 equipped mustangs.
