Driving in town yesterday my car threw the wrench indicator light along with the engine light. Unfortunately Ford can’t look at it until the 22nd.
Here’s what it shows.

I've seen the P0868 in my step daughters '18 its the sensor that needs to be replaced, because I had to drive it to the dealership last year when it happened and when I went over I believe it was 40 miles hr that problem went away. The other dont know but I would guess the sensor need to be replaced, unless you see coolant on the floor or smell it.

Not until the TWENTY-SECOND?! Too busy or did they let all the mechs go? Geeze, that's ridiculous, despite the Plague from China.

Bummer and sorry it happened, SB. Mike's remote diagnosis sure seems to fit the bill though and I hope it's simple AND they can get the part(s). Be nice if they could order them ahead of time?

If I remember correctly that’s sign for dif fluid change.

Have you had the car on track?

After so many miles of track use the computer says you need to change the dif fluid. It’s in the owners manual.

I like to disassemble things.
Regarding P0868 from the factory service manual...

The service manual then goes into looking for shorts, etc, and measuring resistances for the sensors, etc.

P0128 is engine cooling related...

Check your harnesses and connectors closely and verify fluid levels if you can.

Again, this is from the factory Ford service manual for 2020.

I had no idea the thermostat was monitored either. What I find interesting is, I changed my thermostat to a 180˚ which is down from the 192˚ OEM thermostat and it has never thrown any codes. I did this because after installing the Lund Racing tune, I noticed the fans came on when the car got up to temp which never happened before the tune. After calling Lund, Jon told me they lower the threshold for when the fans come on to keep things a bit cooler. So, I changed to the 180˚ thermostat and my fans no longer come on during normal running. Maybe the tune has something to do with the car not throwing a code for the operating temp. It will be interesting to find out what is causing your PO128 code.

Only in the drag strip. No road course yet

Thinking this through, it seems odd that these two came up. What mods, if any, have you done to the car?

On Edit - If it helps, the unique twin thermostat assembly is located under the large coolant degas tank.
