Sure, if you want breather goo all over your valve cover and engine bay.
There is supposed to be a baffling system to keep oil from splitting out. It is not just a simple breather.

IMO, I'd rather have the oil coming out from that point instead of my block or oil pan. Figured it's much easier to point out leaks without having to disassemble something. I don't have it yet but thinking to pair it with my JLT cc.

A functional PCV system is vital for engines driven on the street. using that breather for only the 1/4 mile no problem .
