So I just changed my oil a few days ago and have since put a little over 100 miles on the car. Low and behold the engine started ticking bad not soon after the oil change. My question is can I go ahead and add a can of ceratec to see if that helps or do I need to wait until next time I change the oil?

You can add a can of Ceratec any time. People do it during the oil change so there’s protection and lubrication through out the whole lifespan of the newly changed oil.

Happened after my 1st oil change also...They must use some kind of additive at the factory. Ceratec should do the trick.

Yeah just dump it in. I put in the first 5 quart jug and shake it up so it gets thoroughly mixed in when I change the oil. But adding after the fact doesn't hurt anything.

I add about 50ml to every oil change for all my cars. Smooths out the engine real nice, and in the Mustang, it quiets the Tick.
