I installed a gt500 spoiler a couple days ago, MP concepts replica bought off of American muscle and I’m having some issues getting the tape to stick correctly, It’s starting to peel up towards the front think I prepped everything correctly but I’ll go ahead and list the steps I followed below...
I haven’t figured it out. Took it to a couple dealerships who both said it’s normal. I’ve since tuned the car on e85 and it’s running amazing, I don’t think the sound is causing any problems.
I just wanna make sure I’m actually getting performance gains. There’s a lot of mixed answers across the forum on intakes. After looking through replies though I am leaning towards PMAS if I do decided to swap it out
Nothing crazy, the only other mods I’m planning on doing eventually is headers/throttlebody. I’m hoping that can get me close to the 500whp mark with a proper tune, not sure how possible that is without a ported manifold though. I won’t be opening up the internals or getting boosted
After doing quite a bit of looking on the forum here I’ve seen many people say that a cold air intake isn’t worth the money, especially if stock. I just got my E85 tune dialed in the other day, so as of right now my mods are catback/k&nfilter/e85. Am I going to see a real benefit from ditching...
Hey man sorry to bring up this old thread again but I have a lot of the same problems you have other than the rough start ups. In terms of the rough shift from P to D & R they replaced the PCM and that fixed it. For the rough downshifts they reset my adaptive learning and as you said that fixed...
Yeah it just feels kinda sluggish driving around normal. I have to give it more throttle than I would the other modes if I was just trying to get up to speed from a light or something. Almost like it’s begging me to punch it lol.
Is drag mode throttle supposed to feel less responsive in normal driving when you’re not WOT? I understand it’s not meant for street use and I never drive in drag mode unless I’m racing, but I have noticed that under light/normal throttle it’s a lot less responsive then sport+ mode. Still pulls...
I know this subject has been beaten to death, and I apologize for resurrecting it but I have a quick question regarding the tick. Does it ever increase with engine RPM’s?. My car has had the tick since I bought it used and I’m aware that it’s normal but here lately I’ve noticed it ticking even...
So I just changed my oil a few days ago and have since put a little over 100 miles on the car. Low and behold the engine started ticking bad not soon after the oil change. My question is can I go ahead and add a can of ceratec to see if that helps or do I need to wait until next time I change...
Coming up on 50k miles on my 18 and was looking to do some preventative maintenance including changing the dif fluid, I just have a few questions since I keep seeing different answers online, I’ll keep it simple
1. 75w85 or 75w90?
2. How many quarts? I’ve seen 1.6qt being thrown around
3. Do I...
Man thank goodness for people like you who know what they’re talking about hahaha. This makes sense, I appreciate the explanation, I assumed there were multiple factors that went into it but wanted to be sure.
Appreciate the response, I don’t believe there’s a leak or anything else hindering performance. Cars running great I just didn’t know if there was possibly some power being left on the table considering it wasn’t reaching zero. Makes sense though.
So I’ve been made aware that when you’re WOT the vaccum gauge should read 0. I’ve never really paid attention to that gauge but decided to look at it today and noticed that when I’m WOT it’s reading between 1-2inhg, never saw it reach zero though. Does this indicate a possible vacuum leak or is...
I just put an xpipe on my car last week and ever since then I’ve noticed a fluttering type noise on deceleration. I’ve checked that all clamps are tight and nothings loose, all hangers are secure, there’s nothing rattling around inside of the pipes. I’m at a loss for what it could be so I’m...
Dipstick looked good. I didn’t find any other oil either. After my coworker pointed it out I parked the car for 15 minutes to let it sit, then remote started it and let it sit idle for 10 minutes and I didn’t see any oil. Kinda weird.
