Center console storage lamp?

OK, so, I previously had a 2015 Premium GT, that I bought new in 2015. I could swear that car had a lamp inside the storage bin in the center console - am I remembering that correctly?

could you do me a favor, and take a photo of where that lamp is located inside the console? I would like to swap one into mine, but I can't remember where mine was located.

Uh oh . . . Can-o-worms opened . . . Another area of the S550 to modify, now everyone is going to have to do an LED bulb upgrade.... and there will be a run for LED bulbs in the aftermarket ...

I even foresee chrome trim rings being made to overlay the lens...

Really? I never even checked for 1) the light itself or 2) that it wouid change with My Color...

ok - so now the aftermarket needs to come up with a transparent console lid so the driver can see the My Color illumination in the console...

it never ends.... mods...

thank you for posting that picture of the light inside the console storage, I was thinking maybe it never lit up - I work in parts at a ford dealer, looking through all of the illustrations in the parts catalog, there is no bulb listed, so, the lamp inside the console must be integral to some other part, I’ll have to dig in a bit deeper on this
