While driving my GT, there was a firetruck behind me and I pulled over to the right and stopped and signaled right. I was going 60 KPH. Right when I started to move again, the check engine light came on. I immediately pulled onto a side street and stopped the engine and called my Ford dealer up.

I called up my local dealer and they told me as long as it is not flashing, I can drive home.

I had an oil change(full synthetic) done 500 kilometers ago and my oil level is perfect. I follow all of Ford's recommended service intervals. The Mustang is running properly and I don't notice any blue smoke or any leaks.

The only modification on my car is the borla atak exhaust. It has a 6-speed manual.

I only have 3500 miles on the car and I do daily it(I have two other cars)

Any advice? Is there an onboard computer like my 2013 Viper had that displays any fault code? I do not have an OBD2 scanner.

you probably need OBD2 scanner for more detail. Either way, car needs dealership to look at it.

Take it to the dealer since it's under warranty or you can get it read at autozone.

You can go into Engineering Test Mode and see any stored trouble-codes.

Now that's something I did not know about! :clap2:

The CEL went away on the way to the dealer. Odd

that's because you aren't running the engine hard enough. Next time try to bump off the rev-limiter a few times on the way to the dealer

You should still have the code logged in the ET mode noted above like GTpony noted

Get that and look it up online, keep us posted

The code is ct21200. The light came back on. I will take it in on Monday.

The CEL went away again. This is so odd.

That is weird. The code isn't in an open search...so I wonder if ford has a vlookup or something that correlates this code to a Pxxxx code they can actually work.

Regardless take that to the dealer with the video and let the diagnose it. They'll be able to interpret it.

Make them check the systems that they find are potential culprits. CELS just don't come on
