Adams step by step is spot on and I concur with removing the intake manifold for ease when installing the UPR catch can and for gutting the PCV.

To remove the disconnect you have use a small screwdriver to pry the ring away from the tabs, I spent a lot of time trying to depress the tab to no avail :(

Yea, its a huge pain trying to do it by pressing the tabs. Lifting up with a small screwdriver is the best way for sure.

I did the same thing, wasted time trying to press in the fake tabs. One of the two broke when prying them up with the screwdriver, but I had two so I didn't care. If I did it again I'd hit it with the heat gun for a few seconds. Cold plastic is brittle.

I think I'm going to wait for a video before gutting pcv and installing dual valve

I agree. Still waiting on UPR to get mine out (black was back ordered) but I'm still hesitant to do this without seeing someone else go through it. This is my DD and I don't want to waste a day patching up one small misstep.

So far I'm lost at the part where you cut the end off of the connection, take out whatever falls out, but then where does this now broken-tipped connection go?

Soon as my tripod comes in, I will have a video up. It will be the intake manifold removal method, which in my opinion is the easiest.
