I just watched Adam's UPR catch can install vid.. a few questions:

1. What is the purpose of gutting the pcv valve spring as opposed to leaving it how it is?

2. What is the purpose of the line that goes to the intake before air gets to the turbo?

1. The UPR catchcan has a check valve built into the line which means the OEM pcv may not be nesscessary.

2. It is to create a positive vacuum from the crank case.

Exactly. You might want to look into replacing the check valve between the intake manifold and catch can with one that can 100% handle the pressure.

Boomba makes a nice check valve that will fit right in it's place.

Is this needed if we're on stock turbo/pressures? I also saw you added clamps to that check valve.

@adam, where do I get that inline quick disconnect fitting that goes between the turbo and the intake?
