CarPro Elixir

Since DB turned me on to this product, I have fallen in love with it. With a ceramic coating, this "topper" spray is perfect. It enhances the hydrophobic properties, deepens the gloss, and doesn't leave any residue. It is now my GoTo product for a post-detailing spray.

Agreed...that stuff is awesome. Might be a bit pricey but totally worth it. Another good one is Adams Ceramic Boost.

Considering your GT 500 is coated with a CarPro coating, Elixir will play well with it.

In regards to price, I have found that a little of Elixir go's a long way. A bottle should last a decent amount of time.

I have even found it to be a great product to use on much smaller Mustang's.

Nice combo. I have 2 coats of carpro CQuartz UK 3.0 topped with carpro Gliss. Washes have never been so easy

This thread prompted me to get the EliXir out of the cabinet and use it on a detail today. It added slickness, gloss and depth to the metallic grey of this Suzuki Swift.

Make your own in bulk. Buy Reload, Ech20 and 5 Ltr bottle of distilled water. 60ml Reload, 60ml Ech20 and 600ml distilled water in a spray bottle. Works out much more cost effective.

Bulutt: Dude I like the sound of this but if you don't mind, where did you find this recipe? CarPro stuff is expensive and while I have a gallon bottle of Elixir that is three quarters full, it definitely isn't cheap so your idea has me totally intrigued. The other question I have is, what is Ech20?

EliXir was created after a detailer came up with the idea of making a quick detailer, mixing Reload with Ech20 and naming it Merlin`s Magic Elixir. Eventually, CarPro cottoned on and liked the idea so much they made it themselves and starting selling.

Ech20 is CarPro's Water-less Wash solution, similar in concept to Optimum No Rinse (ONR).

The water-less wash part aids with lubrication, the Reload adds some added protection, the result is EliXir.
