If you’re looking for a glass cleaner you can’t really do much better than Stoner or Bilt Hamber Traceless.
Can't wait to try Traceless, it sounds like a gamechanger. Should be available here in early September.

Stoner, P&S True Vue or Gyeon Q2M Glass are otherwise fine choices.

Ok well the stuff came and I used some of it on the Bronco this morning.

My initial reaction is that every other soap I've used so far kinda sucks compared to Lift and Reset.

My process was:
  • Spray wheels w/TriX
  • Spray rest of truck w/Lift @ 1:10
  • Rinse
  • Two bucket wash w/Reset
    • Are we sure Reset isn't safe for consumption? It smells like it is
  • Leaf blower dry
  • Towel dry w/pluffles
  • Griot's Surface Prep
  • Reload 2.0 on painted surfaces only
My biggest surprises were how effective the Lift @ 1:10 was and how much better CarPro's sprayers have gotten. Lift @ 1:10 with a rinse was enough to sufficiently clean a lot by itself. The original sprayer on my old TriX and IronX were absolute garbage. I had long since swapped to a Griot's sprayer on there. I wish I got a couple more dilute bottles now.

Ech2o is so thick that using CarPro Measure is more trouble than it's worth. Better to just use an old shot glass lol.

The 50ml bottle of Reload 2.0 is quite a good value. There's a good chunk left still after doing the Bronco, and that little sprayer head makes it way easier to use the right amount compared to larger ones.

Good stuff. I agree about the Safe consumption LOL. :) Reset scent is the best soap I have ever used.. Much better than cherry cough syrup ;)

So glad you enjoyed using these products. I think it's easy to dismiss the higher end brands as overmarketed, overhyped. But then when you compare directly to the entry level brands and it all starts to make sense.

Speaking about Reset, I remember reading a comment along the lines of once you try Reset, it's extremely hard to find anything better. Sure, something like ADS Shampoo+ or Opti-Coat M-Wash comes close, but it's hard to find one that does everything so well like Reset can do.

For me, it sits at the very top of the tree for the following reasons -

- Cleaning ability. It tests pH neutral but cleans like an alkaline soap.
- Slickness, probably the best of its kind.
- Foam quality, the original didn't foam well and was best for bucket washing, but the current version does, making it versatile.
- Free rinsing ability, meaning it doesn't reactivate. I will say, M-Wash is slightly better in this regard.
- Concentrated, so you use less per application.
- The scent! I know one prominent influencer called it terrible, but I have no idea what he was smoking to come to that conclusion because just about everyone who uses Reset comments on the scent.

I remember the first time I used Reset. At the time, the price was noticeably more than what I had been using previously (NV Snow), so it was sort of a luxury item for special occasions, ie on the Mustang. The first thing that got me was that scent, and every time I use Reset, it takes me back to that first use. The slickness sealed the deal for me as a very premium proposition. Now that KCx GSF is 35% more expensive than Reset, it seems better value, especially when you use half as much Reset to do the same job.

My thoughts exactly, thanks to you of course. I do love ADS Shampoo plus (bought a gallon after all :) ) and M wash is very nice, but nothing beats reset. And I have quickly become uninterested in GSF (or any KCx soap for that matter), while KCx has some really stellar products, their soaps have fell behind for the money. I do really like NV snow though, I like to throw it in my rotation once in a while :)

Yep, that's quite a common reaction and it once again confirms the old addage,

"You get what you pay for."

..and every time I use Reset, it takes me back to that first use.
That is simply too cool, D!

Looking back, I see that my first use of Reset was not as long ago as I thought, these were from March 2020 -

This is the first time I have used CarPro Reset, it foams very well and has a different smell to most bubble gum scented wash soaps.

I was really impressed with how much smashed bugs it lifted from the front bumper before the contact wash. I also used some CarPro Bug Out to help the process.

Take one for the team? Leave some in the bottom of the foam cannon so you can slam it down after a hard day's detailing.

Rumour has it @DFB5.0 takes his neat, stirred not shaken.

I was pretty happy with the bug removal ability of Lift as a pre-spray so I'll probably stick with that. The truck did have spray ceramic on it though. Fun coincidence that both our first times using Reset were on Silver Wildtraks.

As soon as I saw the old cannon D, I remembered the post. <smile> It was one month after Sarah was delivered, too.
