Interior is finished with Shelby Carbon Fiber Gauge Pod installed. Would have preferred a matte finish to the gauge pod; however, it works due to where it is located and looks great from outside.

You can always throw some Xpel Stealth on there, super easy and quick way to get that matte finish.

That matte finish looks awesome!
Yea I have to say I’m very happy I went this route. It feels premium but understated and less flashy. I think it compliments the PP2 nicely. I’ll post more photos once it warms up on the east coast and I get my Alcantara parts in as well.

I might have to give that a try!! Thanks for suggesting the expel ... never thought about that as an option.

Guys, what's the required temperature for installing a Forgitec Carbon Fiber dashboard overlay? My garage is approximately 18C/64F currently, is that good enough for the 3M tape to make a good seal? I can obviously put the heat on in the car to make it warmer or even put a hair dryer on the dash. Any thoughts? Thanks.

That should be plenty warm enough. I just installed this on my car this morning and it’s 45F in my garage

I’d use a heat gun on both surfaces. I ditched the tape as although it’s thin, the fit wasn’t quite 100% in places, mine’s bonded on with little dabs of silicone sealant, fit is perfection

Hi, make sure you use an adhesion promoter. I have installed double sided tape at that temperature,
