Car shutting off while driving

Might not be the same issue, as it did not shut off ... but my 2019 Mustang GT's cluster went completely black today, for about a minute & then came back on. Anyone have this happen?

Whoa. You have the digital dash I take it? So the car kept driving bu you lost instrumentation?

Yes, shut down & I thought I was going to lose power to the car - kept driving & waited, finally it came back on. Will keep an eye on it, definitely a WTF moment, lol.

Cripes...are you going to take it in? That's pretty scary and definitely WTF.

This is my only issue (touch wood). Hoping it can be resolved quickly - and hope yours as well

So I'm decelerating on the same offramp where it's happened 3 times before, and thought "nope it's not going to happen again"...and it did. I was ready and started it up as it was going through the left hand turn onto the road. Oh well the appointment is Wednesday. Hope Ford clears this up

mines done it twice as well, once going to down the interstate at 90 and letting off for traffic..had to get from fast lane to shoulder with no power and another time after running hard and then just backing out..hasn't happened in last month or so though, and both episodes were weeks apart,too random to log or take in

you should take it in. Probably have an error code logged. It's a dangerous flaw

I AM A DUMBASS

I took the car in. The CSR opened the hood, tugged on the air filter enclosure. It was not tightly closed. He opened it up, fiddled with the filter, snapped it closed and it was tightly sealed this time

So far so good. It makes sense the air leak could have tripped the MAF and shut the car down.

My fault......

My shit is still broke. Getting ready to just give it to Ford. Took all the supercharge charge piping off to look for bare wires and can't find any. Last effort is to look under the car and see if I can find anything.

Damn sorry to hear that! Any leaks around the air filter? MAF working ok? Hope you get it sorted

Since I had my filter snugged last week I've had no repeat issues
