Engine dies randomly!!?

Sounds like the VCT/cam timing is dropping out. Surprising it's not setting a code, but apparently it often won't if it doesn't last for long enough or if the car dies.

agree had a tech drive mine for a few days with laptop connected finally collected enough information to determine VCT was the cause. My symptoms were similar in this thread but bone stock. $3600-$4200 to R&R both and related components.

Hi, did you datalog the exact moment of stall and sent to Lund? I am going through this issue right now, but Lund keeps saying my tune is fine and they need the datalog of stalling moment.

never captured it, they just gave me a revised tune.
