agree had a tech drive mine for a few days with laptop connected finally collected enough information to determine VCT was the cause. My symptoms were similar in this thread but bone stock. $3600-$4200 to R&R both and related components.Sounds like the VCT/cam timing is dropping out. Surprising it's not setting a code, but apparently it often won't if it doesn't last for long enough or if the car dies.
