Can someone explain the driving modes?

What changes exactly? I mean sport mode is more fun to drive in my opinion (which sucks I can't make it default) but in laymans terms does it make it like say 1/4 throttle in normal mode you're at 1200 rpm and 1/4 throttle in sport mode you're at 2000 rpm?

Anything change with horsepower in different drive modes?

And suspension surely doesn't change right?
