I just got the call that I have an allocation to order a GT350R. I'm still kinda in shock. I've had BMW M3s, M5s for about the past 14 years. Now it's time to try something else.
I currently have a 2015 M3 that I really like but I don't love it. I think I will love this car. I usually change cars pretty quickly but I really think I will hold on to this one. An instant classic I believe.
I am going to call the dealer tomorrow to hopefully go ahead and order. I'm thinking white with a black roof and black racing stripes.
This is going to be a fun process and I look forward to spending some time on this forum with you guys.
You're not the only one in this situation. I've not driven Ms for nearly as long but I do enjoy that kind of car. These GT350s are very tempting. If they were only more accessible and easier to get. Really don't want to stand around for a year waiting on one.
Ford tried very hard to keep the price down, but none of that matters with dealerships gouging people like they are. I understand why the dealers are doing it, but Ford Performance made a big deal about what a great value the GT350R and GT350 would be.
I'm going to go with classic white and blue stripes on this one. I'm hoping I can get it ordered today and maybe get the car before the end of the year.
