Gosh darn I am still on the fence on these!!

Ford got lazy, Mach 1 should show on steering wheel like the Bullitt does. Fail on their part.
Sure seemed a lot of people bought them. All I did was change the start button to the GT350 style. That’s it. I’m okay with the pony on the wheel.

Yep I like it actually, but I refuse to stick on Mach 1 badge seems cheap to me so I have decided to leave it alone.

Is the handling package noticably different from standard? Too harsh for daily driving?
I have the HP. The HP has wider tires, adj strut mounts, gurney flap and the extra front splitter, chassis tuning etc. My biggest issue for daily driving is the lower front splitter. I track mine mostly so I live with the lower clearance. Even though the belly pan can have clearance issues, the front splitter for me gets scraped the most because of the 'attack' angle. Nevertheless, I predict you'll love the Mach1.

I have always had cars with the “sporty” suspension option and/or aftermarket suspension but I think it’s fine on the street. I have not driven a non-handling pack but in normal mode, especially on the highway it rides great. Yes you're going to hear&feel when you go over broken pavement or railroad tracks but the car is solid so it doesn’t feel like it’s rattling apart. If you’re absolutely never going to do anything other than street driving I would say skip it just to save money on tires. Also the added HP lip does scrape a lot, it took a several trips to totally adjust my spacial awareness as it isn’t that low but the distance out from the centerline of the front axle makes it easier to scrape when the dip/driveway/etc doesn’t even seem that aggressive.

Does the red gt350 start button go right on? Did you remove all the trim or just use some pics to pop it off from the front?

It was easy. I used a repro that self adhesives to the existing one.

I got a replacement start button from 5 Spurs. The original popped off, and the new one popped on.

The Mach 1 on the wheel is 100 percent aftermarket. A ton of people just like to buy the sticker has nothing to do with handling pack.

the handling pack rides fine. I don't daily drive mine but I'm CONSTANTLY thinking about where I'm going (which i think you should do in a sports car) and how I will get there. It's not a cross over. Many owners swap out the tires so might be a high chance one you stumble upon will have more manageable tires and ownership

I just drove one with the handling package. It's surprisingly well riding.

My question is - can you remove the front splitter? Because that thing will get trashed in no time. Also can you remove the 2nd extended piece from the spoiler?

Yes I daily drive mine and its just perfect.

Regarding the question, Yes to both! And I have both on, its not so bad at all. I scrape but I have learned to zig zag method. I have scraped alot with only minor damage, its strong and has a nice flex to it.

Check your insurance rates before you sign anything.

My county taxes are higher than the insurance. For this year on my 2021 it's $1425!

The front splitter extension on the HP cars is both bolted and riveted on. Yes you can remove it, but you will have to drill out the rivets.

My splitter is still on. Like others with HP equipped cars, I have learned to take inclines at an angle.
