Only had the car for a few weeks. On my first fill-up I noted a slight "burp" about 2-3 seconds after starting. Car then ran fine, no issues. Second fill-up and exactly the same thing happened. Car fired up and about 2-3 seconds after stabilizing at idle there was a slight "burp", which was a momentary RPM drop/rough sound (less than a second), followed by a return to normal idle. It's never done this from a normal start, only the two times after fill-up and checking the oil.
I found the improperly seated dipstick thread, and both times I filled up I did check the oil (which was at the top of the hash both times). Next time I am not going to check the oil and see if it makes a difference. Anyone else experience this?
Oh, I live in CA where 91 is about as good as you are going to get at a normal gas station.
