I replaced mine with a decklid panel from Ford that had no emblem (the way Steve McQueen would have wanted it

I followed the procedure as shown in GRNMSTA post. Fairly easy to do. You may want to invest in a 5.5 mm socket.

The emblem,
& 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear ratios (MT82-D4),
are arguably the only noticeable pitfalls of the '19-'20 Bullitt.
Most aren't even that put out by the ratios. Easy to speculate on the reasons they went that direction on trans.
Still got popped ~1 mpg by EPA & hit w/gas guzzler on the 20's.
Ford engineering did great on that program, since both can be tolerated or remedied.
Set the stage for the Mach 1 -
trading the dog dish emblem in bk, for the large phallic symbol up front...
Luckily, it only got penalized -10hp while adhering to yet another knotzi reg.
