Build Week 4/13

My requests to my dealer were:
1. No wash.
2. No drilling the bumper.
3. No dealer badging.
4. MN Support the Troops Plates

I am a little nervous about inspecting the finish without it being washed, but really don't want swirl marks in my new car. Reading some other threads it seems some people have had body panel alignment issues, squeaks and rattles. I plan to inspect my car and test drive before I sign. What else are you guys watching for?

Found the dealer had another order build on the same day as mine. It still has an EDD of end 4/28, but it hasn't shipped either. I checked another neighboring dealer and it has a car waiting to ship as well.

Since were closing in on our delivery dates, have you guys done anything to prepare for pick up? Any purchases so far that will be going onto the new ride?

I will be ordering up some things from chemical guys site tomorrow once i narrow down my needs and wants. Diode Dynamics order should be here in the next few days (reverse, map and trunk leds).

I haven't made any significant purchases, just in case something happens between now the time I get the car.

1. Window tint.
2. Ford racing by Borla touring catback.
3. Red line hood struts.
4. Radar Dector(already bought this).
5. Dash cam.
?? Black out light tint.
?? Roush Spoiler.

Next year:
1. Stereo upgrade.
2. Lowering Springs.
?? Maybe wheels. I haven't seen any that I really really like. The VMB7 in gloss black would be nice I think.

After reading the body panel thread, I went to my local dealership to look at the cars they had on the lot. They have about 7 right out front. I also knew they have had inventory for a while, so the cars they had were some that rolled off the line early. The worst thing that I noticed were the hoods. Almost all of them were crooked, and about 3 of them had a massive gap were the front of the hood met the bumper. There were some other very minor issues but nothing as bad as some the cars in that thread.

Still applies....I'm trying not to be a PITA but damn, it's just sitting there. Everything is ready on my end. The other cars for the same dealer are en route. Really hope someone just forgot to scan the car going into the trailer and it's actually en route

Don't feel bad, I ordered mine on the same day and I was told my build date won't be until 5/18.

Salesman said mine was in Gibson Indiana as of yesterday. Hoping it gets to the dealer by Friday, but that's probably wishful thinking
