Placed my order with the dealer on 3/24 and received the VIN on 3/26. It is scheduled for 4/13. I was caught off guard by this turn around.

GT Premium 400a Automatic
Deep Impact Blue with saddle interior
20 Inch Wheels
Adaptive Cruise Control
Spoiler Delete

Anyone else land on this week yet?

Stoked!!

Looks like the ordering process is speeding up significantly, took me around a month to receive my VIN. What was your priority number?

Well my order has been a complicated one.

My original order was placed 2/26. My dealer is awful at providing information on the orders so I contacted Jeff@FordService on here 3/12 and was given a VIN. After reviewing the COTUS order details I noticed "Leather Seats" and not the premier trim I had ordered (even though I was on the phone with the dealer as he reviewed all the options I wanted) :frusty: This order had a priority of 20, it came out of production last Friday and is now Awaiting Shipment.

I contacted him the next day and he apologized for the incorrect order and assured me that he would expedite the correct order and that I would only be "a week or two behind".

Yeah... okay...

After not hearing from the dealer once again per the details of the order (why do people not learn from their mistakes?), I contacted Jeff again last night and got my VIN this morning for the correct order which is now in this build week.

Mine was 19, they had two allocations for the week and mine appears to have been assigned to one of those. I was honestly hoping for a 30-45 day lead time on getting a VIN number. can't complain :)

I ordered 3/26 but didn't show up in COTUS until the 29th. Still don't have a VIN or EDD. Dealer had my priority code as 11.

I ordered mine on 3-8 with a priority 10. Called my dealer 2 weeks ago and he said he is expecting a Vin that week. Called a week later and he said it had been pushed back and he wasn't sure what ford was doing with my order as it is out of his hands. Called last week and now he is saying they are expecting a Vin number again this week. I sure hope it doesn't turn into one of those mess situations like some guys have had.

I went online and found another black stang at a different local dealer today. It has a few more options than my build has but only $1500 more. I emailed my dealer today and surprisingly he replied, on Easter sunday. He said the rebate is higher with the 50th aniv package so he may be able to still get me the same out the door price. I told him if he could make it happen I have my down payment and could sign for it tomorrow.

COTUS is now showing it's in production even though I thought the week is 4/13. Does it just flip to this status when the window sticker is available? Window sticker doesn't seem to load yet. Seems like COTUS might be a little bit out of sync. :)

The production week is the week of final assembly. The blend day is the day final assembly should occur. My understand, and recent experience, is that the week before your "build week" the car enters production as the body is produced and going through the body shop and gets painted. Other components are also being assigned to your VIN during this stage.
The window sticker will most likely be available in another day or two but will lack the pricing and EPA info. The window sticker should eventually update to include that info around the time of your blend date. Hope this helps...

It flips to 'in production' when your order comes out of order processing and gets sent to the plant. Part orders start to get aligned at this point. The window sticker should be available soon without pricing. Once your car gets 'invoiced' (this may be when the plant gets paid for the car, not sure) the pricing info goes on the sticker.
