Build Week 4/13

Had surgery Wednesday, just got home yesterday. I plan to get the car this week. I can't drive for 3 weeks though. God this sucks.

Glad to hear you were still able to get her! At least you'll have some time to get a nice coat of wax on before it gets exposed to the elements.

I ended up taking delivery of a car that had been on the lot for ~3 weeks due to the airbag issue in my 4/13 build and I can happily say she looks as good as can be.

I have 2 retired neighbors that are gracious enough to drive me up there. Trouble is the ride up is probably going to be painful.

So ended up taking delivery yesterday. Had a 9 hour drive from the dealership in Atlanta to Naples, FL where she will be residing. Gave me a good chance to really get in tune with everything in the car. Once sundown came and the lights came on it was like a whole new animal! I absolutely love the Sirius radio as I had no idea we get 6 months free, I will definitely be picking that up after the trial period is over. I will be getting tint installed tomorrow and first coat of wax after that. Hopefully have some decent pics to post tomorrow.

The only thing that is utterly annoying is the flat white map lights in the cabin. I will be heading to Diode Dynamics site right about now.

Finally got it home Now just have to wait for my hip to heal so I can clean and drive it. At least it's home. It's so much better in person, really love the interior.

You should have front floor mats. I purchase the weathertech floor liners because my work has me on construction sites and my grandson is all my car before he is buckled in. You might need to call your dealer.

They were in the trunk, not sure how I missed them I can't even get in the car yet. Hoping to be able to bend my leg enough to get in this weekend.

Car is at the unload station and then needs a ride to the dealer. Guessing it will be ready middle of next week.
