I was checking with my Dealer yesterday and he mentioned that there is no QC issues and the delay is due to 'shortage of rail carriages for transport'. Take this with a grain of salt.

Mine says weather related delays. They either know and don't wont to lose business, or have no idea and are trying to buy time

I highly doubt that, im in dearborn , 30 minutes away from the plant

Yes I agree. I don't think he has enough information either. or probably the issue is NOT escalated higher up to get the accurate information.

Apparently my dealer and Rachel have different information about my order. My dealer says it changed to awaiting shipment and now Rachel says it is still in production. I don't know what is going on. If it doesn't get in transit by the end of the week I'm buying one off the lot somewhere.

Don't do that Tinmannequin. I'd hate to hear you had to settle for one you didn't really want.
Hold on. Wait it out would be my advise. This Can't last much longer... Yours and mine will probably end up on the same train......

I second mikef523. For what its worth, the longer you wait, the more satisfying it would end up. On the flip side, you don't want to look at a 40K toy everyday and and feel 'I wish I got the one i ordered'

ColoradoGT I am with you on this. Your posts are the among the most important ones along with Rachel's that I keep stalking all day. I know the dealer didn't give me the accurate information but I didn't expect anything different from them. :headbonk:

@donshady @mikef523 @coloradogt @tin do you guys think our mustangs are going go like those guys who went almost 6 month's ? Or do u think we should be getting movement soon ?

The "6 month" folks waited that long pretty much because they chose to order VERY early...before production really got going.

I don't expect ours to go much longer....IF it does...I'm done. But, there would have to be a real major problem if ours sat too much longer...beyond let's say 2 weeks. I think some are on the way...other's should be moving out a little each day now.

hopefully thats the case , glad to know im not alone , as soon as i get mine i will let you guys know since my dealer is 30 minutes from flatrock plant . Thanks for keeping us updated as well .

Dealer replied car is still at plant(like I thought) and not delivered to dealer like cotus is saying.These cars are built and have yet to ship for whatever reason.
I live in Minnesota so weather sucks so no real hurry for car.if April comes and no car yet or car arrives with bad build quality will pass and explore other options.

as some have already said...I think some are moving out now.. I just spoke with my dealer, and he shows my car as "delivered", but He cant seem to find it on the lot. So, He said if he cant find it, he is calling his Rep in Dearborn to find out something. 4:30 pm here now. still no word....
I don't think it is here yet.....
NO way do I think we will be waiting anywhere near 6 months. I am a patient man, BUT that would definatly wear my acceptable tolerance well past the limit.........
