"RACHEL"...is there a specific day of the week that Flat Rock informs you of any progress for a vehicle? I was told that Mustangs usually are shipped out on Thursdays/Fridays.
If you get any info on days that Flat Rock ships, please post back. Do you recall where you read Thurs/Friday? My blend was Friday 2/27. I guess my convertible gets to spend the week here: ;)
At least the weather looks good for Thurs & Fri. this week. That is a good thing! :clap2:
Hey tsunami and davekro,

My tracker, and thus the information from the plant, is updated in real time, as much as anything being updated by people is real time. ;) Seriously though, as information becomes available, it updates in my tracker. It isn't only overnight, or at certain times of the day, or only on specific days.

As far as I know, there are no set days that vehicles only ship out on.

Hi Rachel,

It seems I'm having problems accessing COTUS. The sites been all screwy (technical term) for the second day now. I am able to get in, but just says mine is still awaiting shipment and that I have 10 days to go until delivery lol.

Anything you can do would be appreciated :)

Post here or PM me Rachel- Thanks :ford::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Congrats! Mine is a month this Friday so hopefully that is a trend. Until then I'm still stuck in limbo.

I hope for you too. I have been livid about this. Yesterday I started looking at C7s again to see what was in stock locally. So glad it hit this morning.

I've just come to the conclusion that no one can give us answers and I'm hoping to see movement this week. If not, I may have to rethink my options and see what else is out there... Which I don't want to do. Been following this car is it was announced.

I've already made a plan B. I told my dealer to find out about my car. I gave them till Friday. On Friday if they is no update on my car then I'm going else where. I know this is not my dealer fault. But Fords fault. I made appointment with a dealer about a hour from me. With my3rd color choice and with some more options. I really like my dealer that's 10 minutes from my house great people and great sevice to. So now do I buy the car that's a hour away or just wait? If I buy this I have to run a credit check make a deal with my truck. Sounds like I'm the one doing all the work for what? This is not fun and very disappointed.

One thing that's driving me crazy is my car has been sitting outside... in the elements... in the middle of a terrible Northern winter FOR A MONTH! I keep my cars garaged and being from the south they never see snow. I wish Ford cared about my car as much as I do.

I even got my garage heated so at night it stays nice and warm. But Its just heating a empty spot for the mustang. my wife likes the heater her car is warm at night.

My dealer had a Shelby shipped to him last winter...temps were well below zero on the railroad car. The car had multiple visible surface cracks in the Pirelli summer tires. Pirelli would not cover replacement but Ford immediately sent out new tires. So...for those of you "the 4000" who have summer tires that have sat out in Michigan February weather for a month (much less being driven in and out of the factory possibly multiple times), I would recommend close inspection of them when your car finally arrives.

I just got a call from my dealer and my car is now officially awaiting shipment, instead of in production...

Stangnut. I lived in Michigan for 40 yrs. Had many cars. Only kept in a garage for a few yrs. in the 70's. I can say from experience that the Cold weather does nothing to affect your car. Unless you are diving it in the salt covered roads. BUT...If it is just sitting in a lot. No worries.

Just being outside that long bothers me. I wouldn't leave a car outside for a few days much less a WHOLE MONTH. Like I said Ford cares a LOT less about my car than I do.

Made a decision

My wife and I talked it over this afternoon, and we decided, that no matter what, we are going to wait this thing out. Just because we ordered exactly what we wanted, and we will not settle for something in dealer stock.
I have bought several new cars, but I have never placed an order for one. I always found what I wanted in stock. even if it had to be shipped from another dealer.
This has been a Bad experience for all of us in the 2/2 build week. The only reason we decided this is because we both have reliable cars that we are happy with, and we are really in no hurry for the Mustang. BUT...It is still a big pain in the Ass. I know this problem is not typical, We are just the "few" that drew the Bad cards on this deal.
One thing for sure...We are all in an exclusive group huh? Maybe we should start a thread later...sharing just how our cars turned out. (problems with them, warranty work needed, etc.). That is....IF we ever get them...
